Immanuel Jaylen Quickley is an American professional basketball player who currently serves as the starting point guard for the Toronto Raptors. Standing 6'3" and weighing 188 pounds, Quickley has established himself as one of the NBA's most promising young guards since being drafted 25th overall by the New York Knicks in 2020. Known for his exceptional three-point shooting and clutch performances, he finished second in Rookie of the Year voting during his debut season.

Born and raised in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Quickley developed his basketball skills at The John Carroll School before committing to the University of Kentucky in 2018. During his sophomore year with the Wildcats in 2020, he averaged 16.1 points per game while shooting 42.8% from three-point range, helping lead Kentucky to the Elite Eight before the tournament was cancelled due to the pandemic. His outstanding college performance elevated his draft stock significantly.

After two and a half seasons with the New York Knicks, where he averaged 11.3 points per game and became a fan favorite for his energy and shooting ability, Quickley was traded to the Toronto Raptors in December 2023 as part of the deal that sent OG Anunoby to New York.
